Many employees from New Morning donate their time to make this event special. New Morning’s own esthetician Jeanette Mento, is our secret weapon in pulling down incredible donations of personal and beauty care items from our very gracious vendors. This year, we’re promised goods from the following companies, and the list is growing daily- thanks to Jeanette (left). A wonderful collection of soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, lotions and cleansers from Grandpa Soap Company, Goatboy Soap, Burt’s Bees, Kiss My Face, Adivasi Body, Tom’s of Maine, Aubrey Organics, Dr. Hauschka, Preserve Toothbrush, and Rainbow Research. Also, Giovanni, Solgar, Natural Specialties, Hemp Organics, Hair Doc, and New England Brokers and Kennan Ward who donated beautiful journals.
Got clothes? Safe Haven clients sometimes have to move quickly-and are in great need of sweat suits and pajamas. New Morning collected new casual clothing for women and children throughout June and delivered them to Safe Haven. See a complete list of items you could help them with below. Thank you to all of our generous customers for thier donations.
Safe Haven can use your assistance all year round! Gift cards, new clothing and personal care products are always welcome. For more information about Safe Haven for donations after June, please call: 203-575-0388,or you can email: womens@mindspring.com.

In one out of six marriages in the U.S., there is a pattern of abuse. 4. Nearly one-fourth of American women will be abused by a current or former partner at some point in their lives. 5.
