Thanks for coming out! Our 8th annual Ice Cream Social was a great success.  We raised $2000.00 which New Morning matches 100% for a total of $4000.00! Each year, the event gets better and this year we raised the most money and had the biggest crowd yet. Of course the gorgeous, sunny day helped a lot too. We couldn’t have done it without the generosity of those who donated their time and products from employees to vendors to Julie the harp muse and Larry Hunt the master mask maker/performer. We also collected lots of donations from our customers and vendors toward personal care supplies and clothing that Safe Haven can always use.     Jo Hurley from Roxbury was picked as the winner for our raffle prize of a FREE 1-hour massage or 1-hour facial, by Rosetta and Byron Eddy of Mind/Body Works.  Hope you enjoy it Jo! We sat back and enjoyed the magical Larry Hunt with his original masks and puppets! Larry performs theater works under the auspices of Masque, his international touring company.
