Kid's Poster Contest Winners! Click here.

It was a beautiful day all the way around.  From food sampling to non-profit organizations, natural skin care, holistic practitioners and more!  Tell us what you loved most!

Femina Melodia Drummers performed the opening ceremony and it was broadcast live via WPKN.  What a way to start the celebration!

Greyledge Farm had a huge grill full of delicious Local beef, chicken and pork!

Non profit organizations had wonderful displays illustrating the every day effects each of us has on our environment.

Our holistic practitioner tent had a steady flow of people asking questions and learning about local holistic health care practices.  Free massages, reike sessions and body scans were given all day.

John Pittari with Congressman Christopher Murphy visited with Harold and Delisse from Local Brookview Sugar House and sampled some of their AMAZING maple cream.

Now that's a happy camper! Honest Tea had a great set up right across from the BOUNCE.  The perfect spot for thirsty kids to pick up some of the Honest Kids juice they were handing out.

Local Simmons Farm brought a baby cow who spent the day munching on hay while being stroked by passers by.  Simmons was sampling farm fresh yogurt!

John Pittari and WPKN had a great time broadcasting and interviewing live from Earth Day.

mmm... Applegate no-nitrate hot dogs were among the favorites being sampled in the Main Food Tent which was packed with attendees sampling natural and organic everything!

Lexy and Caitlyn manning the raffle table.  You entered to win, among many prizes, $500.00 of free groceries, a mountain bike and an Energy Saver dishwasher!

Local and Regional vendors like Ariston, Bantam Bread and Aleia's Gluten Free were on hand to prove Local Just Tastes Better!

Larenim gave makeovers in the holistic skin care tent.  Hauschka, Kiss My Face, Mod Skin sampling too just to name a few.

Kid's activities included allergen free pine cone bird feeders, all day face painting and coloring.

All in all in was a spectacular day - we all learned new ways to bring Earth Day HOME!

Another drumming session courtesy of The Offbeats later in the day.

Rescue organizations like Animals for Life and DDEAF brought some rescue pups for people to play with.

How incredibly rewarding it is to rescue an animal in need.  Many of us here at New Morning have rescue pets at home -John and Jane Pittari (owners) bring Millie in to work every day! Millie is a Boston Terrier who was abandoned with a litter of pups!  They rescued her this past Fall.

Tell us what you LOVED the most about Earth Day 2010!
